The Martins barn fire

As many of you know, the Martins lost their barn in a fire on Sunday. The barn, and all its contents, burned to the ground. Unfortunately, it was underinsured. Right now they have the immediate expenses of replacing tools and cleaning up the debris. Eventually, they hope to replace the structure.

For my family, and many others, Terry and Vickie have been the epitome of community spirit. With potlucks and sugarhouse gatherings, and you can also always count on Terry to lend you a tool, or show up to help with a project. How many of us have had Vickie fix us up when we are hurt or pick and arrange all the flowers for our events. And so many have found a home at the Martins when we needed it. They have given of their space and kindness so freely, and I wanted to give their community a chance to give back a bit of that during this time. Please pitch in what you can to help them clean up and recoup what they have lost.
