The Mary L. Richards Scholarship

Hey everyone! My name is Shamerea Richards & I am an educator, facilitator, and the host of the show, “The Scoop with Shamerea”. Last year, my family lost the matriarch of our family due to COVID 19. It was devastating news to my family & every day has been a challenge, however, we have come to see the beauty in life especially, during these times. This scholarship is named in honor of my grandmother because she loved education and always encouraged me in pursuing an educational life. She was an advanced reader, computer wiz, & loved helping those prosper in learning.

 This scholarship will be awarded to 3 Black women ages 18-25, high school seniors - college students this Fall 2021. This scholarship will be awarded to 3 young women who have an advanced love for education, creativity, and life. This scholarship will be available to the public to apply for in April 2021, but I need help from others to raise the money for our future scholarship recipients.
