Support the Mathurin Family after their awful loss

Hi, my name is Tiesha and I'm fundraising to help the family attempt to maintain their living expenses after experiencing the terrible loss of a father, brother, and husband to a senseless act of violence.

Imagine having to relive the gruesome death of a loved one at the hands of a murderer every time you walk into your apartment, which is supposed to be your place of peace and serenity. Imagine having to double that grief and trauma because you lost two loved ones in a matter of seconds from one another. That's the reality of Bladimy Mathurin's widow, his 10-year-old daughter, 18-year-old son, and 23-year-old daughter who witnessed the earth-shattering executions, and the entire Mathurin family.

Beyond their killer heinously snatching their lives away, he left a trail of broken dreams and promises, endless nightmares, a sullen upcoming holiday season, and a bleak existence and future.

On Sunday, October 29, 2023, the Mathurin family's lives were changed forever. The losses of Bladimy Mathurin and Chinwai ushered a new chapter in their lives that will more than likely be plagued with emotional anguish, mental breakdowns, PTSD, and financial instability.

Today, we're asking the community to band together in the name of extending the love, protection, and security that Bladimy Mathurin offered to his family daily.

He was a source of inspiration and an example of gallantry for his son, Chinwai, a music lover, whose light will be deeply missed as well.

Bladimy was a man of honor who fought and worked daily to someday position his family in a better living situation. While he was grateful for the roof God helped place over his and his family's heads, the plan was to save enough money to move his entire family to an area insulated from crime and poverty.

We want to help the Mathurin family move past this traumatic event by permanently removing them from what was once considered home but is now a crime scene.

Please help us in providing support and seeking new shelter for the Mathurin family.
