The McLeans

Hello, my name is Jordan. I moved to North Carolina in January of 2023. Since then the McLeans have been nothing but the greatest to me. Welcoming me on my first day and introducing me to the neighborhood. They brought me meals the second day I was here to make sure I was okay. And have brought me meals atleast once every two weeks since being here. I've sat and I've talked to them for hours on end each night. They've welcomed me as part of their family and it's been great. Unfortunately, on November 6th, there was an accident at their house causing a fire. Everyone made it out safe, but they have lost their home. Ray is retired from the Army and recently just finished chef school. His dream is to start his own food truck and bring the best food to Fort Liberty. Tracy is a stay at home mom to their daughter Saraya. I've been walking through the remains with Ray these past days picking out what is salvageable and helping him move it to the storage unit, and every time I look at him, he looks up with a smile and says "we made it out and that's all that matters." I'd like to help him and his family get back on their feet. They've treated everyone around them so well. Bringing meals to everyone, helping out with fundraisers for the children's hospitals, and just being there for anyone who needs them. No questions asked.
