The McCollum Family - Medical Expenses

Spare no expense.
When it comes to doing everything you can to combat cancer that is wreaking havoc in your life, you'd like to be able to have the freedom to do whatever it takes to beat it. Treating and managing disease (no matter which form) is expensive. And no one plans for it.
If you know Matt McCollum, you know that the thought of not being able to "pay his own way" is enough to get his feathers ruffled. Now imagine what a fundraiser on his behalf does to him! So it is extremely humbling for him to approve this kind of public acknowledgement: The McCollum Family needs your help. He probably has more discomfort about this than he does with the tumors that are doing their best to take him down.
Here's the thing. Matt's competitive. He's a fighter. And he certainly doesn't go down easily. From the 1st day of his diagnosis (Ocular Melanoma), it was "game on". Although he's been wired as a pull-myself-up-by-my-bootstraps kind of guy, he knew he wasn't going to win this battle alone. No matter how many trials or treatments he was able to participate in, he has always believed that his healing will ultimately come from the Lord. He's lost weight. He's lost his appetite. He's lost his original hair color… and he's even lost an eye. He hasn't lost his faith and confidence in complete healing.
Matt and his equally strong wife, Jessica, have been approved to be part of a new treatment that has proven to yield great results. This will require their full attention over the coming weeks as well as being apart from their three incredible kids. It will also require a significant amount of funds to participate.
Would you prayerfully consider financially jumping into the trenches with Matt and his family? If not financially, would you please pray for his full recovery and miraculous healing? He won't like the sound of this but… he needs you.
