The McGarvey family needs your help

After graduating from Our Lady of Mt. Caramel, Shane McGarvey was excited to start the new stage of his life at Cherokee High School as a freshman; however, his life was cut short at just 14 years old. On July 3rd, the McGarvey family lost their son Shane unexpectedly in a tragic accident. The McGarveys have been completely blindsided by the loss of their fun-loving boy. He loved fishing, hockey, and riding, especially with his older brother Philip. He was a big brother to Aidan, and a loving son to Dana and Phil.
The McGarvey family is devastated by the loss of their son, brother, and friend without warning. As we all know, the loss of a child brings a pain beyond comprehension. The McGarveys have been friends of my family for as long as I can remember. It is horrible to see them experience the loss of a child. In light of this horrible tragedy, we are asking for donations for the McGarveys so they may lay their son to rest and take time off from work to grieve. Any donations you can provide will allow the family to focus on healing instead of the financial burden of burying a child. Our thoughts and prayers are with the McGarveys in this painful time.
