The McNamara Family

I think by now the entire community knows Heather McNamara and her family. Heather has been in the hospital since Christmastime where she was admitted into the ICU with multiple organ failure. There have been some ups yet many setbacks for Heather over the past few months. Heather was transferred from Southshore University Hospital to NY Presbyterian Hospital where her family has remained by her side day and night.

Everyone who knows the McNamara family knows they would be the first ones to take the shirts off their backs for anyone in need. While the community continues to pray for a full recovery, Heather is continuing to fight and has a long road ahead of her. The mental, physical and financial demands (insurance only covers so much ) on this family are insurmountable. Everyone has been asking how they can help the family, so besides continued prayers , we are starting a Go Fund Me to try to ease some of the burden and allow her family to continue to remain by her side every step of the way .
