The Means Family Miracle

To know Mike, Theresa and Julia is a blessing in itself. They are the first ones to open their hearts, home and wallets to those in need. Anyone who knows them has been touched by their abundant generosity more often than most can imagine.

It is now our turn to show Mike and Theresa how much they deserve our generosity and love in return.

Over the past year Mike and Theresa made the decision to update the home they’ve built their family in. As anyone would expect, Mike did his research and settled on a contractor that would would not only support a small local business, but also turned out to be a childhood friend! They were excited for the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful kitchen and give Theresa a nice new home office of her own. Little did they know that the months and days ahead would be filled with lies, hundreds of thousands of dollars lost and a home left barren of cabinets, countertops, appliances and windows.

Most importantly, Mike and Theresa have had to make additional investment to make the home safe for Julia. With the lack of functioning windows and proper insulation from the demolition, they’ve had to purchase air purifying products to clean the air to protect Julia’s delicate lungs from the poor air quality caused by the Canadian wildfires.

It is unlikely that Mike and Theresa will ever recover the money they’ve lost and are faced with sinking thousands of dollars more in order to have a functioning and safe home for their family.

This is where we come in. If we can manage to raise enough money to cover the cost of materials for Mike and Theresa’s kitchen, Krystal’s husband, owner of Knataitis Construction, will cover all of the labor for installation!!

These lovely people have been through so much over the years and yet they keep smiling, loving and pushing on. There is no better family who deserves this miracle than them.
