The Memorial of Jessica Marie Vasquez

Jessica Vasquez or (Maria) to most, was a beloved Nana, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Tia, Sister, Comadre and Mother to her children and to those who loved and knew her. After being on dialysis since 2020 and being diagnosed with Lung Cancer and COPD in March of 2023, she bravely put up a tumultuous fight before passing away on July 8th, 2023 surrounded by her children. She will be laid to rest in Fremont, CA near her mother and father, Carlos and Carolyn Vasquez. The ashes of her daughter Yolanda, who passed in 2014, will also be placed along side her.

Jessica was many wonderful things, but to name a few, she was an outstanding cook, a Música Regional enthusiast and a beloved Matriarch. She was a strong and enthusiastic person whose vibrant spirit can be embraced and remembered by all who knew her.
