Sudden Death of Crispino Meola - Sole Breadwinner - Brings Devastating Family & Community Loss 
- Will You Help?

The Meola family and our community has been hit by the devastatingly heart breaking and sudden death of Crispino Meola.  After experiencing severe chest pains on the early morning of September 13, 2020 he was rushed to the Baptist Hospital Emergency Room in Miami, Florida.  A few minutes after arrival, onset of severe cardiac arrest ensued to which the Doctors and Medical Staff where unable to revive him back to life. Crispino passed away in the Lord in the Emergency Room early that morning at 4:20 AM.  Now the family needs your help.

For those who knew him, he will always be remembered for his friendly smile, making us laugh and always ready to help attitude. Crispino was a wonderful man, father, husband devoted to his family, a true friend and an active leader in the Miami Soccer Community.  No words can fully express the gravity and impact of loss of such a good person as everyone who met him loved him. One of the kindest, most genuine and congenial people you could ever meet in your life.  From the time Crispino moved with his son Marco from Italy to Miami some 12 years ago he was also involved and served with distinction in various capacities in the local soccer community.  As team manager, club general manager and manager/coach his long standing impact on the community was substantial in serving others.  Crispino, you left us all too soon.

Crispino was only 56 years old and leaves behind his widow Silvia and young 22 year old son Marco who is still a student finishing his college degree at FIU.  The most dreadful reality now facing the family is that Crispino was the sole breadwinner for his household and this has brought a severe loss of income burden upon Marco especially to care for the family.

Your help is needed now.  As Crispino helped our community it is now time for the community to also help his family in this time of need.  As a result of this tragic loss, Crispino's young son Marco must now take the reins as head of household while not being fully equipped or prepared.  Although Crispino had implemented some basic plans to protect his family financially it is not enough, his early and unexpected passing has left Marco with an immense financial challenge.  The burdens of a mortgage, Insurance, car payments, household expenses, medical bills, school fees, food for for the table etc. now falls on his shoulders.  All told he faces thousands of dollars in monthly payments with drastically missing income.  Twenty two year old Marco will have to do this all while attending FIU finishing up his Bachelors degree, in pursuit of a Masters in Business.  This is a challenge that Marco is prepared to take on full speed ahead, however he is in need of your help now.
