The Metje Family

The Metje family lost another hero last Friday September 11.  We share the news of Michael Metje's passing with deep sadness in our hearts. Mike was a loving father to their three young boys Derek, Matthew, and Luke. Mike was not only beloved by his family but loved by everyone who was blessed to know him. If you knew Mike you knew he was always quick with a joke and willing to sit back and enjoy good conversations with old friends and new.

We are so devastated over the loss of our father, husband, brother, uncle, friend and more.....the list goes on. His absence will be felt for an eternity and we are hoping that with your help we can come together to prepare for the tough future that lies ahead for his wife and kids.

We want to ease the financial burden that comes with losing someone so suddenly. This memorial fund will help to take care of the family and perhaps assist in creating some security for their future. Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.

We are in the process of preparing all necessary funeral arrangements and will communicate the details once they are finalized. We want everyone to be able to join in giving their condolences and laying Mike to rest.

We are broken now, but we know that with the help of our loving support system we will make it through.
