The Michaud Family

Hello Everyone, My name is Charlette, I am the daughter of Bill & Karen Michaud. I'm reaching out to help my parents, whose home in North Port, FL was recently affected in the devastating events of Hurricane Ian.

As some of you may know, my parents sold their home in Stafford, CT, in Dec 2021 & packed up all of their belongings with a plan to live in the home left to them by my Grandma Leone in FL. They have the dream of building a cozy cabin on their property in Calais, ME, and thankfully were at the property in Maine at the time of the Hurricane. Unfortunately, their home in FL is damaged beyond the ability of repair. At this time, they have only completed the foundation of their cabin in ME, and cannot stay in their camper in Maine through the winter months, so this devastating event has left them homeless for the first time ever.

I am starting this Go Fund Me to help ease the burden of unexpected expenses(housing, travel, storage, and personal belongings) due to come over the next few months following this tragedy.

My parents are some of the most selfless people I know and have always given to those in need for as long as I can remember. That is why I hope you can find it in your heart to help them in their time of need! All I ask is that you donate what you can, whether in the form of well wishes, social media shares, or monetary donations, every little bit will be received with immense love & appreciation.
