The Midway Staff Support Fund

Dear Friends & Family,

This s*** is bananas! 

Things really come into focus in crazy times like these.  You realize just how much family and community really matter. The city and state mandated restrictions on our operations are having a devastating effect on our staff, the very people who make us us.  Our Midway family.

We are the biggest independent music venue in San Francisco. We have dozens and dozens of hourly employees—bartenders, door staff, production staff, techs, hospitality, coat check, kitchen, facilities peeps—who are all effectively out of work for these next eight weeks at the very least.

This is a heartbreaking reality.

We are working on several different possible solutions on our end to help minimize the financial impact. But also, we are reaching out to you, our beloved community—all you booty-shakers, shufflers, disco dudes, and dancing queens, and all the rest of you—to help us support our staff through this bizarre time. 

Please donate some dough. 

We appreciate all donations, big and small. But! If you donate $25 or more, we will guest list you to any future Midway event once we are up and running again. A $50 donation is good for two guest list spots. And so on.

Think of it as a nice thing to do. Think of it in terms of a discounted ticket to an awesome upcoming show. Most of all, think of it as helping the guys and gals who have helped you have a good time everytime you visit us! 100% of the proceeds will go directly to our hourly employees.  

No matter what, we promise the party isn’t dead, it’s just taking a lil’ disco nap! We’ll be back bringing you awesome music before you know it!
