The Migliore’s battle ALS.

My father Joe has fought ALS for 32 years and I’ve become the full time caretaker in 2016. My name is Anthony Migliore. I am almost 33 years old. I am an only child. My father and I lost the glue to our family in 2007. Gina, who was my late mother passed away due to lung cancer. My dad’s father moved out here to LA from PA to help us. He did all he could for us for 9 years and he also passed away. My life has been nothing short of A whirlwind. I am incredibly strong. I’m blessed by God and those who look down on me. I always tell myself it’ll be ok. I am always home. I have a lot of time to reflect on things. I think things out as best i can but I am always on the clock. Taking care of my father is 24/7 365 but something I take huge pride in. It’s something I had to quit working for. Now, the attention to detail at his current state is crucial due to A recent wrist injury that is going on 4 weeks of treatment. I am literally the only person who makes him feel comfortable and as hard as that is. It makes sense and I need to be patient and loving always! I have to make the most of what I got for both him and I. Friends and family all over ask how they can help me. I don’t ask for much and never will, but you all could change our lives and it’s something I cannot entirely wrap my finger around because I’m so humble and gracious. I just want to enjoy life with my dad who has done nothing but battle this damn disease and i don’t want him to have to worry about rent,bills,groceries,anything, and everything. I want to change his life in the most positive way possible and with your help, I can do that and document our adventure through life! I’ve started an ALScaregiver page on Facebook and will continue my content as soon as I have more time on my hands. All of your support is incredibly meaningful to me and I have nothing but love for all that support me and my dad through our journey battling ALS.
