The Mike Russano Memorial Fundraiser

On the morning of Saturday, May 22, 2021, just hours before his wedding, Michael's life ended suddenly and tragically due to sudden cardiac arrest. He is survived by his loving fiancée, Liz Barrett, his adoring parents Richard and Jama Russano, his dear brothers Richard, Pete, and Chris, and the countless friends whose lives he touched over his past 35 years.

When something this devastating happens, financial distress can be overwhelming in a time of such grief. Mike, Liz, and their dog Lincoln had just bought and moved into their dream home together in New Jersey and were set to join hands in marriage and start a family before the unthinkable happened.

Many people have reached out asking how they can help, so we have started this GoFundMe to help with any unforeseen financial burdens his fiancée may face while navigating through this. Beyond that, any remaining funds will be dedicated to awareness and research of the recently-diagnosed heart condition that took his life, in hopes that no other family has to go through a tremendous loss such as this.
