The Millersville Ice Hockey Team

The players of Millersville University Ice Hockey need your help.

We are a student-run club sport for Millersville, and we rely on both player dues and funding from the University to pay the season's expenses. Ice hockey is a far more expensive sport than many of the other club sports – between ice time, transportation to away games, fees for the league and referees, and other expenses - and we count on the money we get from both dues, the University, and fundraising to successfully run our operations.

This year, our funding from those sources will not be enough for us to successfully run our season. We are in dire need of additional financing if we are to run our season as planned. Our players are asking for the support of our fans and those who love the game to help us close the funding gap.

A little about us: Ville Hockey has two teams playing in the ACHA. The D2 plays in the CSCHC, and the D3 in the ACCL. Both teams need to close the funding gaps to support their seasons. The D2 team has been ranked in the top 15 in the region for the past three years, has placed in the top three in our division for the past three seasons, and has set our sights on the division championship this year. The D3 team has some excellent new talent added to their roster to supplement their committed veterans and are looking forward to some great competition this season. We cannot do it without your support.

This team is a family, from the veteran players to our rookies. Many of our players have played the game they love for 15 years or more, and some are counting down the number of games they have left in their hockey career. We support each other on and off the ice and work together to play the game we love. Now, we need our fans and supporters to help us keep this season going.

Any amount you can contribute will help us. We are grateful for the support of our families, our friends, our fellow Millersville athletes and students, and all of our fans. We hope to have a successful season, thanks to all of you!
