Pip & Shaun, Milly-Rose's parents started The Milly-Rose Stirrup Foundation in June 2023, after their beautiful daughter passed away earlier in the year. 

The aim of the charity is to support bereavement teams, to enable them to make hand castings for children, supply items for bereavement rooms, bedding for the paediatric mortuary, child-like hospital gowns, attend meetings to improve policies and procedures. There is currently NO FUNDING for memento making and bereavement support for families. This is not ok.

We have recently donated enough hand castings to last the RMCH around 6 months and 12 sets of bedding to allow the mortuary to ease the distress of parents seeing their child. We have secured 50 gowns which are made in children's patterns to be delivered soon and another 50 on their way later this year. 

We are also working on more projects we can't wait to share with you.
