Semi truck accident, please support

Friends, family, and strangers,
Over the Halloween weekend, six young adults returning from a Duluth Minnesota Halloween cabin party had their lives forever shaken up after a t-bone collision with a semi-truck. After stopping at a gas station to grab food, drinks, and gas for the journey back to the Twin Cities from Duluth, their SUV was struck by a semi traveling at a great speed. Although there were no casualties–several involved in the accident are facing a long road ahead to recovery. Of the six adults affected in the SUV, Rashaunea Ambers-Winston was left with serious injuries to her lower body in the form of three breaks in her right femur, one break in her left femur resulting in permanent poles needed in both legs for life, as well as a broken pelvis bone and tailbone. Rashaunea now 21, is currently in her fourth year of college at St. Thomas and was a Hopkins High School alumni where she studied, cheered, and met her high school sweetheart who have been dating since the age of 13 and was also involved in the Halloween weekend crash. Having suffered the loss of their eldest son at the age of 31 in 2016, the Ambers family are no strangers to loss, so almost losing a daughter, daughter’s boyfriend, and four of her best friends makes the long road to recovery even hard to even think about. Due to this large emotional and financial stress we want to do all we can to help make Rashaunea’s road to recovery as easy as possible. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, and prayers even more.
