Help Max Mnguni’s Family after Tragic Accident!

My little brother Max, 17, is in critical condition after an SUV sent his body flying 100 feet. His neck is broken, his face is broken, his leg is broken above and also below the knee. His skin is torn off nearly the entire length of his limbs, and a chunk of flesh was torn from his chest and shoulder. The trauma/neurosurgery team has performed 4 surgeries so far and skin grafting to repair his body.

My poor mom must travel nearly every morning for 3 hours from Nanaimo to New Westminster to care for him and then travel another 3 hours to come back home again same day while caring for her baby who she’s breastfeeding, 3 year old, 7 year old, 14 year old PLUS my injured brother.

She’s on extended maternity leave and it’s not nearly enough to cover her bills PLUS $1040 a week for ferry fare, $712 a week for 3 nights accommodation, PLUS the added cost of gas and meals for her and the kids while travelling. We don’t have any family on the mainland, so he really needs my mom by his side right now and throughout his recovery.

If there’s any way you can help alleviate some of the financial stress for my mom, so she can focus on my brother and be by his side, it would be greatly appreciated.
