The Modzeleski Family
Donation protected
This Christmas season, our family has suffered a heartbreaking loss. Our beloved Robert (Bob), Barb, and Tim Modzeleski were taken from us by Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in their home. We miss them dearly, and pray that they are all together in heaven, as they always were on earth. We are met with a lot of hurt, but also with a lot of memories of how all 3 of these beautiful people have touched our lives, and the lives of really anyone that they met.
Bob and Barb were strong and loving Parents, Siblings, Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, and even recently were able to introduce a Great-Great Grandson into the world. Barb loved to cook, keep a beautiful home and landscape, and enjoy dominoes and other game nights with family and friends. Bob was an avid......everything?! From hunting, shooting guns, playing his guitar, singing us country songs, tinkering with cars, motors, etc! All of this was of course second to the place in his heart that was always for his family.
They cared for their son Tim for most of his life, who suffered from long term effects caused by a car accident in his late teens. Tim was a gentle and kind soul, who loved listening to music and watching movies from his extraordinary collection. He loved his family, and capturing MANY moments with his video cameras that we can all have forever.
All 3 of them were patiently waiting to go to their Florida home for the winter, as they have for many years. The trip was delayed this year due to Tim's recovery from open heart surgery.
Shorty after passing, we discovered that there was no Will and Testament in place for Bob and Barb. Their assets will be temporarily frozen while probate in Michigan and Florida can assess value of their estate(s). For the time being we are going to have to cover all expenses, in hopes that the court process can go smoothly and the assets can be released to next of kin.
We ask that if anyone can please help us out with the Funeral, Cremation, Taxes, and Utilities we are facing. Anything to help try and relieve additional stress and worry during this incredibly difficult time would be a blessing. We plan to donate any generous amount of funds raised beyond the fundraiser’s goal into donations for related charities/causes. Carbon Monoxide awareness, local Firefighters, Medical responders, and anything else we can do to try our very best to prevent anyone else from having to face this type of loss.
