The MoMo & RaRa Rescue Fund

Hi! We're denizens of the internet whose work you've probably seen a whole lot of throughout the years. Both of us go pretty far out of our way to avoid putting issues like this one out there publicly, but the situation we're now faced with no longer leaves us with that luxury at all.

Over recent months, circumstances have left us fully unable to afford rent or food. It's forced us to accrue an enormous amount of rental debt, overdraft our bank accounts, and basically starve ourselves just in order to scrape by. We applied for rental assistance with the state more than two months ago, but no one ever got back to us.

Now, with the eviction moratorium ending, and our respective 90-day grace period as rental assistance applicants also running out on October 1st, we are forced to face the reality that we'll both be on the street at the beginning of the month if we can't start taking emergency measures right now.

We need your help. Even if we leave the city of Portland to reduce our rent costs, we still have to pay off this debt before we can even hope to qualify for any sort of living arrangement that won't just impede our ability to focus on work. The sooner we can fix this, the sooner both of us can shift our focus back towards building upwards again. We both want so badly to get back to creative work, but this is simply undermining our ability to do so.
