The Moncrieffe Family

Hello, my name is Janine, and I am fundraising on behalf of the Moncrieffe family, whose children attend our school.

On September 10th, the Moncrieffe family suffered a devasting loss when Kadeen, the loving wife of Andre and the mother of their four children (Kaleah, Kahleel, Kahleela, and Kalayla), passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident involving the entire family.

Along with the Moncrieffe family, members of our Robert Frost School family and the entire Mt. Washington Valley community are reeling from the loss of such a vibrant, kind, and generous person who touched so many lives during her short life.

As a member of our school community, Kadeen and Andre graciously provided macaroni and cheese from their restaurant the Caribbean Spice Café every week for our students. Kadeen and Andre did this without asking for any financial assistance, only wanting to help our students enjoy a warm meal every week. (The students all proclaimed it the BEST macaroni and cheese they have ever tasted!)

As new business owners in the Mount Washington Valley, Kadeen and Andre embraced the community, and as active members of the local Chamber of Commerce, they regularly lent their support to other business owners.

Kadeen’s family needs financial support from our community. Andre is struggling to support his family as he is not able to re-open his restaurant while he focuses on supporting his four children as they process this tragedy as a family.
