The Montford Family

Hello, on behalf of the Montford family I am asking for any donation to help this amazing family out. Sunday night there was a terrible accident letting this family with no income for atleast 4-5 months.

Kent was driving to work Sunday night. He is a truck driver for NFI Industries. He was two minutes from his terminal when another driver ran a stop sign and tboned him. He was transported to Inspira Hospital where it was found that his neck was broken. He was then transferred to the trauma center at Cooper Hospital. It was found that he had multiple fractures in his neck, a lesion on his brain, a concussion and a tear in his shoulder. He is now left unable to work for at least 4-5 months. He was the only income for their family of 5 as his wife is a stay at home mom for the time being. They have 3 kids (ages 9, 7 and 3). He will need extensive care, therapy and potential surgeries. All of this happened right before the holidays which has added another financially burden.

Please donate if you are able. Both Kent and Steph have played a vital role not only in communities in PA, but also in New Jersey where they reside currently. Kent is a spokesman for the Philly area. Kent has taken time out of his day to teach young black individuals to read, write and become well rounded individuals. Kent has been invited to many events where he was given the chance to speak about gun violence and promote ways against it. Stephanie is a stay at home mother to three beautiful children. She also spends her time giving back to the community by helping with fundraising for club scouts, sports and the schools in her area.

Kent and Stephanie have never batted an eye when any of us have needed help. This power couple has always pushed through to make sure everyone around them has been taken care of. But now, it’s our turn to show our gratitude for them. As a community if we all come together to help this family, we can help with the cost of medical bills, therapy for Kent, groceries for the family, gas, lodging for Stephanie while Kent is in the hospital, and just the upkeep of monthly bills.
