The Montowese Baptist Church

Hi, My Name is Sally Pitcher and I am having a fundraiser for the Montowese Baptist Church.

Montowese Baptist Church has been a staple in the North Haven Ct community for over 200 years. The Montowese Baptist Church is reaching out for help to sustain the church's existence in the community. Recent financial obligations (bills and repairs) are difficult to pay. Due to covid hard times and low attendance has also led to the church’s danger of closing. We appreciate and thank you in advance for considering donating to help Montowese Baptist Church cover its expenses.

Our pastor Dr. J.P. Morgan has been a pivotal point in contributing to the community through countless ways of walking his faith in God. Pastor Morgan, his church members and his head deacon Dorothy Pitcher (whom we recently lost) could be seen doing the following: helping the homeless, housing 12 step meetings, services for church groups, schools, and community meetings. Counseling and use of the hall for funeral services were gifted to those in need. Bake sales, church dinners, tag sales, car washes, thrift shop, and community hall use are also ways the church is there for the community.

Any financial help or donations will be greatly appreciated in lieu of go fund me. You can also donate straight to the church. A receipt will be provided for tax purposes see the letter of intent posted under our photos and our Facebook page.
