Phillip Howard Moser transplant cost

Hi, my name is Beth Neal, and I am just one of many people that loves the Moser family. As many of you know Phil has been battling Sarcoidosis and Heart Failure for years. In the last couple of weeks, the Sarcoidosis has progressed worsening his Heart Failure. Phil was transferred to Birmingham, AL last week and is now awaiting a heart and lung transplant. The family needs our help in covering medical costs and the expenses that come along with being treated out of town. The transplant process is long and expensive. As a family friend, I want us to help lighten the financial burden of the transplant and give Christina peace of mind to stay with Phil. The average time a person waits on a heart and lung transplant list is 4 months. During this time Phil will have to remain hospitalized 3.5 hours away from home. This distance requires Christina to travel back and forth and adds the expense of somewhere to stay while she is in Birmingham. Phil is early in the transplant process and updates will be posted as they come.
