The mother of Damari Sanders

Hello, My name is Royceann Porter, and I am Tamika Sanders and Family friend.

I have established this GoFundMe account for Tamika Sander's financial stability during and after the tragic loss of her 3-year-old son Damari Sanders.

On Sunday, July 3, 2022, at 6:56 p.m., at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, a three-year-old baby boy-Damari Sanders of Coralville died from apparent gun-shot-related injuries that occurred that same day inside his residence located within the 900-block of Boston Way in Coralville.

While funeral arrangements are underway, we as a community must step up to show full support to this mom in her time of need. The day this mom lost the son-a piece of her heart was lost too!

Tamika has no desire to live in her apartment, so I will need help finding another home for her and her two children.

Life for Tamika must go on, and we in the community want to ensure that she receives the necessary resources to get through these hard times.

I am in charge of all expenses. While collecting the funds from the Gofundme account, I will ensure that everything has been put in place to help Tamika transition into a new home and receive the necessary support and resources for her and her children.
