The Mr. Joe and Family Medical Assistance Support

As many of you know, our very own Mr. Joe is facing some pretty significant medical procedures. Above all else, the family covets our continued prayers!

Mr. Joe just had one successful bypass surgery on July 25 and is now awaiting a second procedure in the coming days and even with insurance, these procedures are very costly. The next few weeks and months are going to be crazy for the family - medical bills, household chores, travel back and forth to appointments, prescriptions, etc - and any assistance or relief we can take from these guys will be surely appreciated.

For those who have not had the privilege of meeting Mr. Joe, let me just tell you - this man is an absolute legend and the cornerstone of our children's ministry - he's one of the kindest, gentlest, loving people you will ever come across. To know Mr. Joe is to know LOVE!

(Additional information: On July 14, Mr. Joe was diagnosed with an aortic dissection in a major artery. There is a tear in the valve connected to his heart. He was airlifted from Northside Hospital to Kennestone where the doctors were able to keep him stable. On July 25, he had a bypass procedure to place a man-made artery to redirect some blood flow for a second surgery later on down the road. The initial surgery was successful.)
