A Beautiful Life of Mandy Rose Reynolds Gone too Soon

Calling All Angels,

Hello, my name is Karleen Hardy. I am the mother of Mandy Rose Reynolds. My beautiful daughter's life violently ended in April of 2023. I am sharing our story in the hopes of raising money for our family to travel to Texas to attend court proceedings. Substantial evidence has been gathered by law enforcement surrounding the suspicious circumstances of Mandy's death. The suspect in custody is Mandy's cousin, Derek J. Daigneault, who has been charged with first degree murder. If a plea is not accepted, the trial is set for November 4th, 2024 in Waco, Texas.

Mandy was twenty-six years old and was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. She was a friend to many who knew her. Mandy moved from Idaho to San Marcos, Texas to be near her best friend. She was excited about her future prospects and was considering college. She had a shining future ahead of her, she had everything to live for. Derek reached out to Mandy on false pretenses, which resulted in Mandy traveling to Kansas to bring Derek to Texas for a brief visit.

One evening in early April 2023, I received a call that no parent should ever receive. An FBI agent notified me that Mandy's dog had been found. Her dog was alone in a field where a brushfire was reported. This led to a devastating series of phone calls from various law enforcement agencies and the coroner. There was a body found burning in the brushfire, it was Mandy.
