The Napier Carroll Organization for Veterans

Donation protected
VETS.COM and Veterans.org was founded in 1996 by Charles “Sarge” Napier (SFC Ret.) with the mission to serve our nation’s veterans by providing useful information, news, and entertainment.

After almost 15 years of development “Sarge” passed away due to medical complications and the website was, soon after, shut down for nearly a decade.

Now, under the vision and guidance of Iraq war veteran William Carroll and Charles’ daughter Megan Napier Carroll, VETS.COM is back on the scene. While staying true to the core vision of Charles Napier, VETS.COM is once again helping veterans and their families with helpful guides, research, and news.
We hope to carry forward Chuck’s vision with the following goals:

First by providing articles telling about our experiences navigating life after ETS or Retirement, how to use the GI Bill, how to get health services from the VA, and many more topics. We are hoping that keeping up with the latest news while publishing articles that show recent developments in legislation and how it affects the veteran community will be helpful to all visitors of our site.

Also, we want to answer your questions. Sometimes general information isn’t enough and being able to ask specific questions is a big part of why this website exists. That is why we have brought back Chuck’s “Ask Sarge” as our “Ask A Specialist” feature where we always do our best to find the information you’re looking for in a timely manner.

Another goal of ours is to make VETS.COM self-sustaining without placing Google Ads all over it and to do that we’re hoping to release merchandise made in the USA and sponsor affiliate links so you can find things you want.

On our sister website Veterans.org, we are pushing forward to make a comprehensive list of charitable organizations which are looking to help veterans from multiple angles, and we are also working to establish ourselves as a 501c through our Veterans Automotive Service Program which will be offered exclusively through Veterans.org.

2022 in Review
In 2022, we were able to answer your questions through our “Ask A Specialist” feature while restoring the VETS.COM website as a viable source of information.

2023 in Review

So far in 2023 we have finalized the development of our Youtube Channel and we are currently in a content production phase.

We added 18 organizations to our directory of veteran charities.

We have slowly implemented fundraising for our VASP charity and raised a total of $345.

Future Goals: 2024 and Beyond

At Vets.com, in 2024, we hope to have an online store where our own merchandise as well as that of the veteran community can be showcased and purchased.

The continued development of our Youtube and social media presence to help veterans find the information they need and the guidance they deserve.

At Veterans.org by Summer of 2024 we are aiming to have launched our one-of-a-kind program to help veterans with automotive services through the Veterans Automotive Service Program, starting small with financial help for those in need.

What we aim to provide in the future is up to $2000 in reimbursements on most vehicle maintenance and repair services (reimbursement cap will be determined by our ability to raise funds and the veteran’s needs).

Our 5 year plan is to partner with garages across the country to make veteran access to help more accessible. Our 10 year plan is to open our own garages, and employ veterans and others in need who desire to work in the auto industry.

So please consider funding us to make both VETS.COM and Veterans.org the best source for veterans to find resources, community, and financial help.

Most of the funds through our gofundme campaign will be used to maintain the online presence of VETS.COM and Veterans.org, support organizational growth and product development, and simply to keep the lights on.

Also, 10% of funds through the gofundme campaign will be used to implement the Veterans Automotive Service Program.
