The Nati Family

Donation protected
Update: Within 18 hours of filing the claim with their insurance company, the claim was denied. The family will receive nothing from insurance. All expenses are now coming directly out of pocket.

On Sunday, August 7th, the Nati family of Pembroke, NY, became victims of a possible sinkhole as they found their house and property shifting below them. What they originally thought was a small problem quickly turned into them having to be evacuated from their home with much uncertainty as to whether or not they'll even have a home to return to. There is an investigation started into the exact cause of this, but for the time being, the fact remains that the family is homeless. Who knows how long this will go on or how long it will take an insurance company to come through?

Gene is an active member of the community as a volunteer firefighter and local business owner, and I know firsthand that he is the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, whether they asked for it or not. I can't think of a local family that would be more deserving of a little help right now.

Let's come together for a man and his family that have given so much to their community. It's time for all of us to give back. I'm starting with the first donation.
