The Next Step House needs your help

Something we’re all acutely aware of is the difficulty of finding housing and a job when we are very new in sobriety. Many of you may not know but in January the Cabrito Foundation recently opened the doors of a secondary recovery house. The Next Step House is a place where men with over 9 months of sobriety can live and work on expanding their lives and careers while also actively participating in their recovery. The environment and rules of this house are conducive to allowing the men to build themselves up to the point of living on their own. WWe will share more information about this house in the coming months.

With two houses comes two sets of bills, maintenance, and other responsibilities. Sadly due to the COVID19 pandemic we have been forced to cancel our spring and summer fundraisers which are our main opportunity to interact with all of you and raise vital funds to keep the houses up and running. This is why we’re asking you to help us by donating to this online fundraiser so that we are able to make urgently needed repairs to The Next Step House including:

Termite treatment

Roof repair / replacement

Insulation replacement throughout the house

Construction repairs to an existing room
