The Nichols home hit hard by Montana flood
Donation protected

Tragically, Monday brought what local officals are calling the historic 500 year flood to Carbon County Montana. In the early hours of Tuesday morning the Clarks Fork Yellowstone River rose to unprecedented levels and flooded their home and entire property. Incredibly Monday night several families came together to get most their personal belongings and livestock out safely. Now they have massive repairs to make to the property not to mention starting the remodel all over again once all the mud and debris is removed. Unfortunately, they have already exhausted all of their savings from the move, delays and the remodel of this home. They are not in a position to financially do it again. They have an insane amount of damage and are at risk of flooding again as the next days bring record heat to the mountain snow pack. Like most families in the county their home is not in a flood plain so they do not have flood insurance and desperately need our help to rebuild their home because it is completely uninhabitable now.
If you know them, you know how hard working they are but what stands before them is simply too much for them to bare alone. I ask that you find it in your heart to please help share this post, donate any amount of money you wish to, or even lend a helping hand in the clean up if you are in the area of Edgar/Fromberg.
If you wish to help, please be in touch with me so I can give you the location and time of clean up. If you choose to donate, my sister's direct account information is @BNichols3B for both Venmo and Paypal.
PLEASE share this post!!
