The NICU journey of Cody Mati-Bailey

On Sunday July 30th, in an unexpected turn of events, Austin and Trish welcomed their son to the world early. Cody was born at just 27 weeks gestation, with an original due date set for this October. Pregnancy related complications have kept Trish from work, she developed pre-eclampsia which resulted in the birth of her son months before his anticipated arrival. The couple is now completely focused on the health and well-being of their preemie baby. With California's limited resources for parental leave, Austin could quickly burn through his state bonding time before Cody is out of the NICU.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated to give this family piece of mind as the new parents navigate their son's journey in the NICU and homecoming.
