The Noble's Visa Application

Hi, our names are Kylie and Ferris and firstly we would like to thank you for taking the time to read this.

We are a queer long-distance couple that has been travelling back and forth between the US and the UK over the past two years. Between work life and the pandemic, this has been incredibly difficult. However, in September 2022, we chose to elope while Ferris was visiting the US. The ceremony was small and beautiful, leaving us to put the majority of our funds towards a US Visa. The ability to live together as a couple has been so wonderful for our marriage and has allowed us to build a life together in New York.

As you may know, immigration fees are not cheap and, although we are putting everything we have into the cost of Ferris’s US Visa, they are unable to work while awaiting a decision, making this a very difficult time financially. Because of this, we would like to take a minute to ask for help from our community.

The initial forms for the visa itself cost $1140 and $535 respectively, with additional costs for medical tests, biometrics and an initial meeting with a lawyer coming to $685. This puts the lowest predicted costs to us at $2360. While we don’t expect anything, we would be very grateful to anyone who considers sharing this page or donating any amount to ease the strain right now. The life we have built together as a couple is vibrant and filled with love despite the difficulty of the Visa process and the time we have spent apart. We are grateful every day for the support of family and friends who have helped make this possible and especially to anyone who considers donating.
