The Nottingham Mechanics Institute - Repairing Damages
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Thomas Carlton and my dad, Adam Carlton, is the manager at the Nottingham Mechanics Institute.
Nottingham Mechanics are a charity based institution. Founded in 1837 as an educational facility for mechanics in Nottingham's lace factories and cotton mills, the NMI has hosted figures including Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde and Madame Tussaud.
Recently, The charity was broken into, with £200 cash stolen from the charity jar and £800 in damages that need repair. If you could donate even £1 to this cause, it will be going to a fantastic company that only want to help it’s 200+ members. Most of whom are elderly men and women of Nottingham who just want a place to spend time with their friends and find company.
Thank you
