THE OAK BOYS 13U FOOTBALL TEAM

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR D1 13U FOOTBALL TEAM AS WE TRAVEL TO KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA TO COMPETE IN THE AMERICAN YOUTH FOOTBALL (AYF) NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP DCEMBER 5TH – 12TH.   The Oak Boys team had to go independent this year due to Covid-19 pandemic.  Covid-19 has put a tremendous financial hardship on us by preventing our team to fundraise normally as we have done in the pass.      This team is comprised of 26 young men, ages 13-14 all 8th graders.  This will be their last year in youth football as they will transition to high school to pursue their athletic achievement, but most importantly scholastic.    We realize that we are in a worldwide pandemic, the safety for all (26) of these boys is our first priority, we have implemented and are following the CDC Covid-19 protocol for youth football. As we continue to mentor these young men, who all must maintain a 3.0 GPA in order to play. Social distancing, getting comfortable wearing mask, proper hygiene is something all these boys have learned.   As the returning champions our 13U team has earned the opportunity to travel BACK to Orlando, Florida to compete in the AYF National Football Championship at the Austin Tindall Park in Kissimmee, Florida on December 5th – 12th. Being invited to participate in this competition is an honor that reflects just how dedicated, hardworking, and talented each player is.   With this trip brings a financial obligation and your support will help make their dream a reality. In order to ensure that this happens, we must raise approximately $15,000. We are currently seeking sponsorships and pledges for our 13U football participants in the form of monetary donations to subsidize the cost of ground transportation, lodging, and food for our travel to Orlando.  Any donation is greatly appreciated, and all donations are tax-deductible.
