For years, the Oar Family has brought Halloween to life in Hammond with a horrifying, haunting and heroic display of spooktacular scenes. Nothing fills them with more holiday 'spirit' than the shrieks and shrills of neighbors who love to be scared.
This year, the Haunted Hallow is not only a spine-chilling experience but also a chance to make a real-life difference as the family has faced a most daunting challenge - their beloved mom is battling an extremely rare cancer called Uterine Leiomyosarcoma, which occurs in 6 out of every 1M women in the US each year. Treatment has included aggressive chemotherapies Despite the horrors they've faced this year, nothing sounded scarier than the sacrifice of foregoing the Haunted Hallow, the creation of which is a massive undertaking of both time and financial resources.
Your generous donation, no matter its size, will help alleviate some of the financial strain on the family and ensure this walkthrough survives for years to come!
So, as you navigate the twists and turns of this Haunted Hallow, remember that you're' not just getting scared, you're also making meaningful impact on a family's life. Together, we can support and help turn fear into hope! Happy Halloween!
