The Open Door for the Philadelphia Homeless
Donation protected
Brothers and sisters, my family in the faith, thank you for answering the call for help.
There are those of us living in Philadelphia who have given of our time to assist our God as He Cares for the homeless.
This is a home church ministry effort and your financial help and prayers are a great blessing to us and those we serve.
Autumn is here and winter is quickly approaching. As the late rains fall and pellet those who dwell on the streets, the search for warmth sparks in their eyes desperation. Food insecurity and lack of proper clothing become forces which all but crush the hope that many hold on to that one day there will be a different reality for them.
Family we need help.
Let’s put our faith into action and provide for those who are struggling on the streets, to give them the things that they need to have health and dwell securely. Let’s remind them that they do have a Saviour and that his name is Yeshua and that he does see and care for them.
Our goal has continually been to help the homeless get housing, even as we minister to them and help them to get jobs.
Recently we have had another great victory. We were able to put a husband and wife in an apartment after years of living on the streets.
Our God is a God of Miracles. Let’s remind the world.
