The Open Ocean Science Centre

Hey there! I'm Leanne and I am a finalist for Miss Scuba UK 2024

I have recently completed my second degree in Environmental Sciences and as well as a genuine passion for the earth and our environment, I having been a fan of scuba diving since entering Miss Scuba back in 2016 and again in 2019. It is with great honour that I am competeing again this year, and likely the last time, and so looking forward to the good fun!

One of my main passions with Miss Scuba is the fundraising aspect - I take it so seriously and love raising awareness. After winning Miss Charity in 2019 I feel even more relentless to beat myself again and goal for £1000. I'm here to raise money to donate towards The Open Ocean Science Centre at Roots Red Sea - a cause I could not feel more of an embrace with after finishing my environmental science course this year!

Our Ocean is a powerful advocate to help improve many aspects of our environment, understanding it is the key to bringing back some of the balance lost in nature.
