Help the Owen’s After Dylan's Senseless Stabbing

What Happened?

In the early morning hours of August 29th, my son-in-law Dylan Owen was stabbed and nearly killed while out with his friends in Boise, Idaho. According to the trauma surgeon it was very touch and go for a period of time. He lost over 4 liters of blood and was within half a centimeter of certain death had the knife been positioned slightly differently.

Why We Are Fundraising?

We are trying to raise funds for emergency living expenses and potential medical care since Dylan will have a long road to recovery. He has to have another surgery on the 30th and beyond that is unknown. What we know for sure is that it will be an incredible burden on the family of 6 with Dylan recovering and his wife Miranda needing to be by his side. The ability for either to work will be difficult for sure.

Who Will Benefit?

Any funds raised will go directly to supporting Dylan, Miranda and their 4 children through this crisis. Both breadwinners will lose a significant portion of their income, if not all of it, over the next 2 to 3 months. We hope that Dylan will mend quickly and normal life can resume as soon as possible!
