Sherry Hynes & Family

Hello, I am a friend to Sherry and her family and wanted to open up a GoFundMe account to help this amazing family in their time of need. Not only are they facing the unexpected battle of their lives, but with so much unknown facing them in the days/weeks ahead, this was my first thought to help the family with something. We often ask those 'in the trenches' what we can do for them. Sometimes it's just showing up, a meal train, a shoulder to cry on, being their rock, offering advice, providing for their kids so they can be with their loved ones - it looks different for everyone. I have been able to offer Sherry a few of those things, but today I asked her for specifics and encouraged her to let us help. Knowing the mounting medical bills from Owen's time in the hospital starting in December through now, she let me know that this would be a way for ALL of us to help them in their time of need.

I've set the goal at $5k, however I would love to see this grow even further so she can focus on the kids, her own care, being able to have some room to breathe with expenses and simply know we care. If you're not able to donate, please send your healing prayers and cover this family.

Sherry's Updates:

3/19 Owen was moved back to the ICU again due to inability to maintain SAT levels. The medical team visited with the family today about intubation and what they'd wish for his care. Please pray.

3/17 Last week, Owen was diagnosed with lepidic adenocarcinoma lung cancer - a fairly aggressive form of cancer. We need your love, prayers and support as our family goes through this journey. Staging is not complete due to his oxygen requirements, which we are praying will improve. If you have been following me, you know that Owen has been sick since the end of December. He is on his 2nd hospital visit and pushing nearly 5 weeks in the hospital. He has been through a lot. Now that we have a diagnosis, we can focus on that.
