The Owens Family - Mission Trip to Uganda

We invite you to help support The Owens Family as we have an incredible opportunity to serve those in need! In partnership with Keystone Church (including Aaron's employer, ITPartners+), our entire family will be joining a faith-based mission trip to a community in Nebbi, Uganda this summer! Below you will find more information regarding this impactful mission trip and the community we will soon be serving.

Keystone partners with the Honorable Dr. Betty Udongo and New Generation Healing & Empowerment Centre, a residential centre that serves teenage mothers who became pregnant, often through traumatic circumstances. As the first girl from her village to attend university and a former member of Uganda’s Parliament, Dr. Udongo has dedicated her life to creating positive change in the lives of others. Her groundbreaking work is a vital haven for hope and transformation. The Centre provides education, vocational training, trauma healing, and help with parenting skills all in the Name of Jesus. This is an opportunity to see God's world, His church, and His beloved children in a new way!

This sanctuary serves as a lifeline for young women, offering them not just shelter but also a chance at a brighter future through education, vocational training, and comprehensive support, including medical care and trauma counseling.

Together, we can support Dr. Betty Udongo’s mission to positively impact the lives of these young women and their children.
