CRPS-Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

To help fund medical bills, travel, food,
lodging, for her and family while going through treatment.
This is Presley, she is a 16 year old athlete, artist and fabulous child. In July of 2018 while playing competitive soccer Presley received a avulsion fracture of her left hip. After only a few weeks of Presley not being able to use her leg she developed CRPS. This condition is where your body does not shut off the pain response and it over takes the limb. On the McGill Pain Index, CRPS is rated the most painful. Her leg cannot be touched without excruciating pain, even wearing or putting on her clothes hurts. The function of her leg is limited, due to the pain and the decreased mobility, she also suffers from tremors in her body. Presley is unable to rehabilitate her hip and is growing weeker by the day, to the point of using a wheelchair for distances and crutches daily. Her life and dreams are being put on hold due to the PAIN that comes with this syndrome. The faster we can get her help the better the outcome.
Presley has been taken out of High School where she was an amazing student and Sophomore Class President due to the excruciating pain she is in and not being able to keep up on studies. Due to this, we are now homeschooling Presley so she can maintain her studies in a more acclimated environment for her deteriorating condition.
We are a military family currently stationed in Alaska. There are only a few practices in the United States that can effectively treat this condition and unfortunately Alaska does not have a facility. In order to get Presley the treatment she needs we will have to travel and insurance will not cover most of these treatments or the expenses that accompanie such treatments. The process is months long and requires many different therapy’s. That would mean we need to travel as a family, Presley her three siblings and Mom, while Dad stays and works.
Please help Presley get the treatment she needs. We can’t wait for her beautiful smile to come back alive, her dreams of being an Artist, Doctor, or playing soccer in college, and get back to her “BIG FOOT”making plays on the soccer field! Thank You for all of your time and efforts, and hopefully you can help us make this leap of faith together!
