The Pam Hostetter Memorial Scholarship Fund is both a tribute to my mother's legacy and a way to help a college-bound student for the 2022-2023 school year.
Pam (Fritz) Hostetter lived the entirety of her life in Glenwood, Iowa (1944-2021). She was devoted to her family, friends and the community. Besides being a nurturing, fun-loving mom to her own four children, grandmother to eight grandchildren, and great-grandmother to one, Pam loved caring for and teaching young children in the community. She had her own home-based daycare business for many years, and later worked as a Family Resource Educator for Head Start Preschools in Southwest Iowa.
This scholarship will be presented to a graduating senior at Glenwood Community High School in May, 2022. The qualified recipient will be pursuing an Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education degree from an accredited college or university during the 2022-2023 school year.
