The Passing of Ethan Fritts

How do you tell the internet that someone who was so loved, has passed?

Ethan, who was fondly called Smilin Fritts, because he was always smiling, even when he was in trouble - has left this earth so suddenly and we are left with only his memories.

Ethan served in the Airforce for several years. Just after his 22 birthday this past January, he relocated for a different career path- and joined the police force in Suffolk, VA.

At this time, we are asking for assistance to help Ethan’s family with the unexpected cost of transporting him home to Mattoon, IL from Virginia, his funeral, and all things related to this tragic and life-altering event.

Ethan’s Funeral will be held on Monday, February 14- in Mattoon, IL, which his mom said is most fitting because 22 years ago, on that very day, is when she brought him home from the hospital.
