The Pesicka Family

This fundraiser is being created on behalf of David's family and friends.

Hi all. We are once again rallying behind the Pesicka family. David Pesicka was known around the community as a one-of-a-kind, hard working, friendly family man. An ultimate soccer dad as some have put it! He left an everlasting impression on every person he met, and lit up every room he stepped foot in. David was a dedicated husband to his wife, Kate, and devoted father to their three incredible daughters, Quinn, Kinsley, and Avyn. Their family has already endured the unimaginable when they lost Quinn in 2015 to brain cancer.

In September, David started having back pain that led to the diagnosis of Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). Within a week, the MDS progressed to Acute Myeloid Leukemia which also resulted in Myeloid Sarcoma. He started chemotherapy treatments with the hope of eventually receiving a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately, David's condition quickly progressed, and on October 31st, his battle with cancer came to an end and he was reunited with his precious Quinn.

We are raising funds to provide financial support to his family during this difficult time. All money raised will go directly to David's family to help with medical bills, funeral costs and other needs.
