The Phil Jones Commemorative Bench

Family and friends are raising money for the Phil Jones Commemorative Bench to be placed on Porthcawl esplanade by Bridgend County Borough Council.

Phil Jones spent many of his years living in Porthcawl including Rockfields, Victoria Avenue, and Esplanade House. He was a key figure in the South Wales music industry, a working musician and music lecturer at Bridgend College.

The cost is £1500 and £250 has already been raised. The bench is to be placed at his favourite place and will act as a tribute to Phil and our fond memories of him.
