The Piano Man Needs Your Help

On August 14, 2019, Dwayne Kelly, The Piano Man from Dawson City, lost his home to fire. He lived in his dream home - a 27’ boat that he had recently moved from dry-dock to the waters’ edge in Dawson. He called it the nicest thing he ever owned. The motor blew resulting in a devastating fire that destroyed everything he owns. He is very fortunate to have escaped the fire as there was only one exit. As well, Dwayne lost two of his companions in the fire, Muskwa and Boy.  In the attempt to save his dogs Dwayne suffered smoke inhalation which has damaged his lungs. It is hopeful he will recover enough to sing again. His only source of income is playing the piano and singing in Dawson as well as concerts in Whitehorse.  He lost his keyboard and guitar in the fire so he has no way to earn a living until these items are replaced.

Dwayne shared whatever he could to anyone in need, gladly going without himself.  His dream was to finally travel the world, going wherever the waterways took him.  Raising funds by playing the piano and singing. His dream is to do Missionary work in improvised countries. Now this is but a dream for the future as he needs to get settled before the cold hits.

With winter approaching Dwayne needs to find some sort of accommodations, food for himself and his three Karelian Bear dogs, the only family he has. He will find clothing at the thrift store.

Please help Dwayne in any way you can by giving a small or large amount so he find a place to live before winter and, hopefully replace his keyboard so he can support himself.  Dwayne is uncomfortable accepting help, only comfortable in giving.  Dwayne helped me a year ago and now it is my turn to help out my friend. Thank you for contributing.  His faith is what will get him through this terrible loss.
