The Pink Project Fundraiser
Donation protected
We are The Pink Project, a state-registered and student-led California nonprofit dedicating to alleviating period poverty in the Bay Area.
Period poverty is defined as the lack of access to menstrual products, washing facilities, and menstrual hygiene education. Millions of menstruators, especially those from low income and minority groups, are affected by period poverty and are often forced to choose between period products and other crucial resources such as food or shelter.
This organization was started by two students who were inspired to make a change towards destigmatizing periods and essential conversations around them, and has now expanded to a passionate team of student volunteers and officers, a dedicated donor base, and local community establishments collaborating in pursuit of a common goal.
In the past, we have been able to partner with local schools and libraries to create informational seminars, managed social media campaigns to raise awareness, run neighborhood donation drives to involve our community in the cause, and successfully donated nearly 5000 menstrual products to Bay Area homeless shelters.
We are asking for your support to keep our organization activities thriving, including publicizing organization events, creating educational material, and providing menstrual products for local menstruators. Thank you for devoting your time and resources to such a valuable cause.

We encourage you to check out our Instagram (@thepinkprojectca ) and our website (thepinkprojectca.org) for more information on our current projects and how to support them.
*Note: Our application for federal 501c3 status is pending approval by the IRS, so any donations will not be considered tax-deductible until approved.
