The Pittmans and Environmental Racism

Please listen to this community elder speak about her family's burdens: the degradation of environmental racism.  Their home and the surrounding neighborhood has been subjected to toxic fumes - the stench of raw sewage - for months.  The city government of Jackson, led by Mayor Lumumba, takes responsibility, but does not fix the problem.  This fundraiser will allow the Pittmans to retreat from these dire circumstances as pressure is maintained on the government to fix the problem.
